FAQ

1. What material do you use? 5052 high grade Aluminum.

2. What is the powder coat finish? Satin polyester. Easy to clean, doesn’t scratch easily, and will hold up even in extreme elements and it’s flexible  

3. Do I have to remove the OEM spoiler? No, these are installed using well-nuts and 3M tape. For more info on what well-nuts are, here’s a third-party demo CLICK HERE

4. Have these been tested? Yes, prototypes were tested for 6 months prior to release with ZERO issues or concerns. These are also backed by a damage protection plan.

5. How often should I check the spoiler? Just like any aftermarket setup, spoiler should be checked once a month or whenever you wash your car. It’s a simple 10 second test to make sure its still nice and tight.

6. Why do you need Loctite (thread-locker)? Well-nut+bolt setup works just like a nut+bolt setup, if you don’t apply a thread-locker you risk having the bolt back-out overtime due to vibration. With the added inner lock washers (included in the hardware) for additional support, the bolts will stay in place.

7. What testing have you done on well-nuts? While these rivnut alternatives are new to some folks, we have been using well-nuts for 5+ years on various applications.

8. Can I take this through a car wash? Any car with aftermarket parts should avoid drive-thru washes like the plague. Washes have been known to rip wipers, antennas, OEM body panels clean off. ATTEMPT AT YOUR OWN RISK. Vega is not liable for washes destroying your parts.

9. Why do some companies charge more for plastic spoilers? You’re guess is as good as ours.
